Hello! My name is Dave and I'm going through my midlife crisis.. I just want to ride! ::001:: This morning I sold my DR650 and am trying to sell my 2004 FJR1300 so I can buy a tenere. Thanks to all those who replied to my last post and for suggesting I post in the member intro area.

Does anyone out there have the lower seat? If so, do you like it or recommend it? Does the topbox have a quick release? Does $880 for the side cases sound like a reasonable price?

Greetings Dave. When I have an itch, I scratch it. Way deal with the mid life crisis issue. Living in the PNW and being from Denver I have Bronco this and that all over everything. Hell to the yes I was going to reply to your post! When you buy your bike, work the dealer for a percentage off factory gear. 20% is not uncommon. Bronco Barry

Ah, the hooks have been set! Good luck with your purchase, friend. If $880 is the OTD price then I think sounds like a good deal. I negotiated 20% off accessories at the time off purchase.
