Hi, I'm Steve from Seaford in Sussex, south England. have had my Super Ten for 2 weeks; just had its first service. It's a fabulous bike.

I currently have several bikes including a GS1100 , XT660R , Hog and a FJR1300.

I sold a Triumph Tiger 955i , and am selling the XT660 to pay for the S10, and may let me GS go as I can't see me riding now I have the S10.

So far I have put SW Motec crash bars on the bike aswell as fender extenders and tankpad. Am making a homemade Camel toe type sidestand extender, and experimenting with modifying the carrier set up at the back to fit a top box. Have bought FJR heated grips off ebay, now need to try and fit using the connector already for the grips, any advice or photos of this would be welcome.

Any memebers in this area wanting to meet ofr a coffe I regularly go the Swessons Ogri cafe in Horam.

Hi Steve ... welcome to the forum. Sounds like you have quite a stable there. I ride an FJR as well ... the two machines complement each other.

Welcome on, snakebasket. How is jolly old England these days? You have quite the collection of bikes there. I know you'll enjoy the Tenere. Keep up posted with pics and such. Again, welcome. I posted a greeting a little while ago, but apparently it didn't take. If I show up here twice, that's the reason. R ::022::

England is cold and wet! I spent some time this summer in the US and Canada and rode through part of the Yukon on my XT660R, I just love touring North America/Canada. It was becuase the XT660 was so good and reliable (15,000 trouble free miles!) that I settled on the super ten for a new bike. The XT660 is now for sale.

I rarely ride my Harley, the FJR is for 2 up riding, and I do have a couple of old classics which I very rarley use; but the Super Ten is definately the pick of the bunch.

Hope to do the Trans American Trail next year, not on the S10 but on a friends CR450, who lives in Texas.

Hi Steve,

::004::

I see you are one of the select few in the UK with good taste in motorcycles. ::008::

I sold my FJR after I realized I wasn't going to ride it any more. The XTZ does so much. If I really want to push, I can ride my SuperDuke. Otherwise, I'll be on the XTZ.

Hi Steve, a belated welcome from me. I'm only over in Hastings and pop across to Wessons a few times through the year, shout if you are interested in comparing notes anytime. The idea of seeing another S10 on the sussex roads is pretty exciting.

Would be great to meet for a coffee and breakfast sometime. Wessons / Ogri Cafe as it used to be, is great.

There are at least 6 other S10s in the area as the dealer had that many apparently. mine is a wonderful blue S10, awaiting a Touratech order form the NEC show ( a hard haggle, only way I can afford Touratech!) Def the best bike I have ever owned!
