Hello from County Durham.

Just picked up the behemoth on Friday after trading in a '04 TDM 900 and selling a '08 Triumph Sprint 1050 ST. Thought it was going to be like the TDM's big brother but it is so much better than that!

The pics are from todays run up into the Scottish Borders.

New bike, new tyres, new seat and bony old arse now fully aquainted. Roll on July and the Harz Mountains, Germany.

Welcome guy71 from Mcpherson Ks. Congratulations on your new ride. I just about bought a used TDM 900 to try and save some money. I did some research and parts were hard to get, also I wanted shaft drive and fuel injection. I'm glad I bought my new 2013 White Super Tenere leftover, but I've wondered if the 900 TDM would have worked out. Safe travels ::001::

I LOVED the TDM. Hadn't been on any bike over 125cc ever, or any bike for about 20 years when I bought the TDM, I just jumped on and rode it 240 miles home, so easy to get along with. Even took it to Turkey from Scotland two years ago 9,000 miles in two months. Great bike.

Welcome to the site. Its good to see more S10s in the uk. Like the sound of your trip to the Harz mountains. Spent a few years in Germany in the 80s and used to go skiing there. Enjoy the beer as well ::003::
