Uh oh.
That could be one heck of a platform to render my Tenere seriously over-farkled if it shows up with 8" of travel.

Crap. I too, must resist.

whoa!

that's a lot of copy and paste.
Actually, I had to write stuff 1000 times on the chalk board a few times growing up. (teachers picked on me. ??? ) So how do you know I copied-paste? :)

From the looks of it, it is chain driven and just another naked bike. Don't get me wrong.... I like the power plant and the design. We all have seen these naked types bikes come and go. Cool to look at and great to ride.... I bet it's wicked quick.... Now... Let them do some major reconstruction to the Tenere.... then we will talk to the bank... ::015::

Thanks. That helped. A LOT.

I just need it to be implausible.

I'm ok if nobody EVER builds my imaginary dream bike. Since I already have the closest thing to it. But it's only so close, if you know what I mean.
Basically, a Tenere. My Tenere, to be exact. Just - 100 lbs. :)

If they were to build that, it would be worth whatever tariff & import fees I had to pay to get it here. It would go great next to my non-imported XT660R

It's sharp looking package. Add a respectful bow to Triumph for the 3-cylinder engine adoption. 850cc is an ideal displacement for a 500 lb. bike. Sexy exhaust too. As a former V-Max owner, I like the V-Max inspired intake scoop-looking bit just forward of the tank. Unfortunately, I can't think of one reason to own this bike. :-X

P.S. There is a disclaimer at the bottom that says you're only allowed to ride it at night or your cool credentials will be revoked. ::024::

Triples for Yamaha are nothing new really. Remember the 750 and 850 Specials in 79 and 80? I had a 750 and loved it...
