Last weekend was awesome!
I traveled down to CT on my 2011 Kawasaki Versys 650 and handed that off to a happy new owner. He then kindly drove me ~2 miles across town to buy a 2013 ST that had been listed on advrider (and possibly here). All we needed was one more bike to complete the triangle but all parties were happy at the end of the day!
Coming from a Versys, wow what a difference! I loved my V but I was a bit cramped at times (I'm 6'5) and while I had it setup for a tall rider nothing can compare to how I fit on this Tenere. Just about every mod you can imagine on the thing save for a top case / slip on muffler. 20k miles, looks like it was originally from Alaska, found its way to an owner in NH, then down to CT and now 4th owner here in MA. I can't wait to get out on some longer rides up to NH / Adirondacks.
As for mods I'm planning, I think I'll add some grip puppies to alleviate the vibes (which aren't nearly as bad as the Versys), a slip-on (love love loved my old yoshi), and of course a top case- probably a Givi E55 or similar. ::012:: ::012::
