New Tenere rider

I’m new to the SuperTenere coming from a Wee Strom with 120,000 miles. took my initial ride the other day and it’s a big upgrade. I found it listed on ADVR, a 2012 with 35k on the clock, one owner. Going to go through all the maintenance items except for valve clearance as it’s a bit involved. The 26k check was missed, so it concerns me a bit but so does the $700 the dealer quoted. Paid $5400 and think I stole it! Cheers

Welcome, from Texas. My Grandpa and dad are from Wyandotte. I lived there for a few years before moving to Lincoln Park in the '60s. I'm thinkin' that you did get a good deal. Which leaves you enough for the valve inspect/adjust. There're more than a few guys on here that have gone much further past the recommended 26k mi. Some have even made it to the next recommended mileage before it need actual adjustment.
