Picked up my new '15 Super Tenere ES 2 - weeks ago. Dealer gave me a generous trade-in on my '05 FJR1300 and also knocked the price down about $2,500 from MSRP, so I was very happy. I commute to work daily on it, and have had it up in the mountains the past 3 - weekends seeing if I can scrape the pegs (not yet). Looking forward to some road trips. I love the roominess of the Super 10. Reminds me of the seating position on my BMW 04 GS1150 (RIP), but I need a road trip to Hollister to get Corbin to make me one of their one-day custom fit seat fabrications to get really comfortable. At 6'7", the stock seat puts me too close to the gas tank and what I really want is a big flat UJM type seat from the 70's so I can move around on it. Also going to have Corbin raise the seat a couple inches for more legroom. Looking at a handlebar riser kit, and wider footpegs too. I've read some complaints about it's 'noisy' engine, but I think it sounds awesome and not unlike a Chevy 6.2L LTI revving to redline!

Greetings from Malta and welcome to the forum. It won't be easy to scrape the pegs :)

Greetings from Michigan! I got the same deal getting $2600 knocked off MSRP on my 2015 ES - still haven't sold my Kawasaki Concours ZG1000 yet. Picked my Tenere up near Joliet, IL at the beginning of Feb. Moving from sport-touring to adventure-touring - cause over the past ten years I kept saying to myself that I wanted to keep going when the pavement ends (and sometimes did regardless).

Welcome! Not difficult to scrape the left peg, surprised me when it happened the first time, haven't touched the right one down yet though.
