The Reason we do not offer the C3 material is because its not as Durable as our High Fusion and Snake Skin Materials. These materials are a durable synthetic rubber compound allowing the product to last several years. We want to make sure the Box Covers will withstand all the abuse you'll be giving them! ::001::
Sorry mate, but this answer doesn't make any sense at all. The tank pads which are available in C3 will get much more of a hammering that any box top protector. The tank pads get used every single time you get on the bike and the whole time you are riding your legs move around where as the box protectors get used only when you have the boxes on and only when you have something strapped to the top of the box. The C3 is a much softer more forgiving material so would be the ideal material for these pads. The snakeskin is too hard and the high fusion is too thin to protect the top of the box. Th ideal material would be self adhesive closed cell rubber foam which would be similar in it's characteristics to C3.

Good comments my friend.. You are right, the reason we brought these out are for protecting the boxes when items are tied down, it is not an every day product.. For you gents who can't stand scratches and use your boxes quite often these can help from the added abuse.
The designers don't think the C3 material can withstand the added abuse since its an open cell compound. (not by much) but it is a pores material..

With that said, maybe we should send you a C3 Kit to R & D so you can let us know if it holds up to expectations?!? What do you Think??

Hey, it doesn't matter as long as everybody can figure it out... Like I knew you meant *reverse* instead of "reverce". ::015::

Look, today I got the protection for my boxes, two stickers and a key chain! ::018:: They look very good and good quality, I think they would be excellent for the sides of the boxes, in case the bike falls on its side. :)

Thank you again www.tpechspec-usa.com
