Hello all,

I am a new S10 owner. This is a great forum and io have been reading for a week now.
I have had the bike for 3 weeks and it is fantastic. I commute 90 miles a day to DC. My last ride was a '01 Honda 929 the i traded it in with 105,000 miles. I hope to surpass it with this bike. It is taking a bit time to get use to riding in the vertical position but like it.

welcome to the comfortable world. There is another Tenere owner who rides daily into work on the east coast and he has 52k in little over a year. I think you will enjoy this, with the comfortability it has over the 929. Enjoy!!!

Welcome! I too commute daily in the DC area on my S10. I'm a little behind you at 70 miles roundtrip. I'm southeast of you near the border of Dale City in PWC. I've owned mine for 6 1/2 weeks and have put over 3.5k thousand on it so far. We are doing a ride from here to Mt Washington Auto Road, leaving on 10/19 from the DC area, if you're interested. I bought it slightly used.

I work in the downtown area, near the Farragut West Metro.

Welcome all Ex-Sportsbike owners ::008::

I switched a couple of years ago, and would not really want to go back, quite fancy a fast bike as a "classic" one day, an RC30 would be perfect, but probably have to settle for something a bit less exotic, but for day-to-day do everything / anything riding the S10 is spot-on - and I can probably keep my licence with one of these ;)

I have the Givi Airflow screen, worth a look if your needing better wind protection.

Sounds great! I park in a garage Near 18th and Pennsylvania, so I'm on the other side of the White House, but it's close!

I come up 95/395 each morning and cross the Potomack at Memorial Bridge. I always like that crossing, it is a great view to see the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument in dawn's early light. I was born and raised in Illinois so the Land of Lincoln connection to the Lincoln Monument is pretty cool.
