Hey YST!

My name is Steve and I recently bought a 2012 S10 in blue. Looked at KTM and BMW, but thought I'd save some $$$ and dip my toe into the Adventure waters. Now that I've put a couple of thousand miles on her, I'm not sure I want to trade her in for some euro sled.

Oh, and I'm also an old Jeep CJ7 owner, which is why my username is 0||||0

Anyway, looking for good info about my new bike, what I need to watch out for, and to meet some really cool people. :)

Cheers!

Hey Steve(0||||0),

Congratulations on your purchase! I don’t know if you know, but you bought the “fastest” color. It’s undisputed! :cool: I also have a 2012 S10 in Impact Blue. I am often in the Northern California area, so look me up if you plan on traveling thru sometime. Here’s a photo of my bike with another blue beauty:

And below is a photo taken down at the local watering hole at the Stone Brewery in San Marcos, CA. The bike and I were returning from the desert and were quite parched.

Again, Welcome to the Super Tenere community. We all look forward to following your travels and adventures.:)
