Just picked up an 2012 black S10 a couple weeks ago. It was gently used by the Yamaha rep to my local dealer, so the price was right, and I'm still (technically) the 1st owner on the title. It rounds out the collection of bikes I'm accumulating - a Ducati Diavel and a '76 CB550.

I've never ridden dirt before, so I'm looking forward to riding, dropping, riding, and dropping this bike off-road. Right now it's my daily commuter bike. I'm already starting the farkling process, and ordered a new Givi windscreen, altrider bar risers, oem low seat, and a luggage set from Caribou.

Here's a pic of it in the garage... it's starting to feel a little full in there!

Congrats, Rev! Nice looking stable. I am new to dirt as well. I suggest going to the gym and doing lots of squats and hitting the leg sled. You'll need to beef up to pick up this beast. Enjoy! It only gets better.

Hard to see, but up against the wall, under a cover, is the GSX-R 750 track bike.

Welcome Rev. I know that bike. The rep you are referring to (Tom) rode with a group of us Tenere riders last year when I hosted a ride out of Park Hills. His Yamaha rep bike at that time was a blue 2012 Tenere. He liked it so much that when it came time to get another bike from Yamaha, he said give me another Super Ten.

Playing around near St. Joe State Park? Let me know if you organize any of the locals for a ride, or let me know where to keep an eye out for anything going on.

We did a 300 mile back road sport touring type of ride. I used to host an annual event with HQ at Rosener's and scouted all the roads in that area and west and south and have several excellent Ozark roads that are pure joy to ride. Tom rode with us and had a blast. he also brought Yamaha tee shirts and some other swag for all. He told my dealer that he was pleasantly surprised on that ride. He said he had expected to be poking along, but as he put it "those guys ride fast!".

Here are some at the Clearwater Lake dam on HH near Piedmont.

Rev, Welcome to the clubhouse. Boy, that tiny Honda's rear wheel next to the Duc looks like a kids bicycle tire. WIsh there was an old Honda in me garage as well. Actually several Honda's would be perfect.
