New S10 Owner in Southern New Hampshire, America

All, I recently acquired a lightly used 2012 Super Tenere to find out what all the fuss is about Adventure Touring. My current stable includes, from oldest to newest:
1965 Honda 305 Scrambler- Moto Giro bike
1968 BMW R80/2 Conversion- Gotta have a /2!
1974 Vespa 150 Super- Just cuz...
1976 Yamaha TY175- For vintage Observed Trials
1983 Yamaha IT490- For Post Vintage XC and MX
1985 Yamaha Riva 125 Scooter- 78+mpg Commuter
1986 BMW K100RT/EML GTII Sidecar Rig- To take the wife on trips
2002 KTM 520EXC- Push Button Starter... nuff said
2014 Yamaha Super Tenere- Sold my R1100RT to buy this bike. No regrets

I'm curious to see if my dirt riding skills will serve me well on my S10. There is no shortage of dirt roads and trails of all types where I live in Southern New Hampshire.
