Hello all. I've searched around some but can't seem to find a definitive answer. Based on feedback from this forum, I'm in the process of upgrading my Gen1 turn signals to the new OEM LED ones from the Gen2. My question: Do I need to change the flasher unit to compensate for the resistance change or is that "built in" to the new LED signals? I've read conflicting statements regarding this, but I figured that somebody here has already done this and knows the answer...
