Saw it last night in West Des Moines, IA. Got there early and a few minutes later this scruffy guy with a good looking woman sits next to me. He made some comment to his wife, and I asked if he rode.

Me: Do you ride?
Scruffy: I have dirt bikes and an Adventure.
Me: I have a Tenere.
Scruffy looks straight at me: BIGBOB??
Me: ahhh Yes?
Rethy: I am Rethy from the forum.

We live 10-15 miles apart and had never met! When the movie was over we sat and talked for a few minutes. Hopefully he will ride to the SW Rally this fall. He wants and needs to meet Steve Reno to talk about some of the single track stuff in Colorado!

Rethy friend me (Bob Stilwell) on FB and I will add you to the Super Tenere USA group.

Okay, I was too kind in my comment. The movie was crap. I just e-mailed them to ask for a refund. Not enough riding and setting up camp, too much sitting around the camp fire talking about their feelings. Waste of money and time. First time I went to a movie by myself and first time I walked out of a movie.

I got sucked in.

Terrible movie. Way too touchy feely for this Luddite.
Great flick for a men's church group I suppose.

Yea I got the perfect quote from another forum member... "Waaay too much rainbow farting for me!"
The perfect comment about this movie. After a while in the middle of the movie I said out loud... just get on your bikes and ride!

Saw the movie with wife (who rides) at the Viera Carmike Theater in Melbourne FL....

Wife laughed at the movie .... and smiled at me ... as it seems to be more a Religious discusion film .... thank an off road motorcycle adventure ...

So while we are not sorry we spent the $$ to see it, if we know what the film was we would not have gone ....

Live and Learn ... and now I owe my Wife for going to this movie ....

rode with a buddy at SLAP this weekend, he sadly delayed his trip to see the flick.

I wont repeat what he said, except ".........it was all about feelings, not much riding"

If you're into modern Christian, faith based psychology, it was probable a good flick.
If you knew who John Eldredge or Ransom Heart Ministries were, then you probably knew what you were getting into.
If you were looking for the motorcycle adventure movie (like I was), then it was not the movie you were looking for.

I totally felt duped. The movie was not what the trailer advertised, and i feel that that was the intent. They wanted to lure a group of people in and proselytize to them.
WTF what the side story about the Horse Whisperer dude all about... I wasn't even sure where that came from. One of the clients that the psychologist threw in?

If the Kumbayaa moments and the christian mens weekend moments were removed, this movie would have been watchable. Not saying it wouldn't have been laughable.
These guys were crashing for no reason. on a route that was mostly paved. on the little dirt on the route that I under stand is not really that bad (not did it look it, but I've not ridden it and know that cameras can make routes look easier than they are).

I did request a refund, but I'm expecting them to send me one of the books that they offered at the end of the movie instead (ya, I sat through the entire damn thing)

Just before my wife and I left for the theater, I told here that I had a bad feeling that this movie was not going to be what we were expecting, but I never expected the switcheroo that we got
