Today I picked my new exhaust. I was in None to replace the old prototype for a production one. The finish is incredible, perfect welding. ::012::

Jamie,
I have the same exhaust on my bike. The sound is fantastic!
I know you never drop or lay your bike down, but I might . What would you suggest as far as protection for the new missile launchers?
They are just too nice to get beat up.
I was thinking maybe pannier mounts.

Luggage? ..... you don't put luggage on a weapon system ;)

That's certainly one crazy looking bike now. Real nice to see someone doing something radical. ::008::

Yes I drop my bike LOT of times ::010::

They are very close to the bike and is very difficult to damage them, at least I didn't (much more than OEM). Also, if you do it you can change one muffler and they are cheap.

That looks nice and tidy!

Hopefully the heat isnt a factor.
I doubt it, there is enough distance and the mufflers aren't very hot

As an option, in the left there is also a hook for the toilet paper roll :))

I was thinking one of the Tool Tubes would fit in there nicely... But toilet paper is probably a way better idea! ::025::

I think a sound bite is in order.... ::26::
These are old videos, with the first version. Now the mufflers are smaller so the sound is slightly louder (not much) but you can have an idea:

With db killer: Yamaha Supertenere dual exhaust with db killer

Without: Yamaha Supertenere dual exhaust

Dyno chart: There is a 3HP gain comparing the stock (green line) and 5HP without the DBkillers (red). But more important, the power is more constant.

In this graphic is the stock (blue), the Akrapovich (red) and the None (green) without DBkillers.

The weight of the two bafflers and dual pipes are 5,9kg
Stock: 5,8kg
Akrapovich: 4,0 aprox.
