Hello,

I just bought a 2012 Super Tenere and I was wondering if there are any common problems with these bikes that I should be wary of?

There was one with the 2010 model where the timing chain tensioner was a bit dodgy and a few people got detonated motors because of it.
Not sure when they fixed it.
I’m in the process of waiting for the part to arrive so that I can replace mine.

Welcome, from Texas. Like Matt said, the CCT was a common issue with the Gen 1s. Not catastrophic if it's taken care of.
