HI all. I'm a new member, but long time mc rider. I currently have a Moto Guzzi Lemans and a Triumph Bonneville and am in the market for an adventure bike to explore the gravel/fire roads of the NC mountains and take several weekend trips (some two-up with my wife). Coming from a long line of Guzzis, I prefer shaft drive and am very interested in the Super Tenere. I used to have a F650GS, and it was great on the back roads, but challenged on the highway, so I need something with more highway capability for my weekend adventures.

Welcome! I recognize your handle from Wildguzzi.

The Tenere has been a joy. It has a broader RPM range as the Guzzi and it is a lot less peaky. A good steady pull, you know, like a freight train! The chassis is an outstanding "all rounder". Mine doesn't care what I do with it. Ergos are very similar to a Norge or B11 with a way lower CG. Oh,,, and you can actually use top gear at legal speeds.

Find a demo bike and ride it. Come over here and ride mine! ::022:: ::008::
