Two different target markets. Tenere is stable, reliable, predictable, standout in the no frills, solid performing motorcycle arena. TFT not really needed.

KTM is a mind blowing, exciting, thrill ride, that makes you not give a flying leap about anything else in life until you park it for the last time at the end of the day. TFT...sure, why not.

The EU rules are going to kill the industry at this pace... it has been always like that, reason: own market 'protection'. Old story.
The less we pollute, the better, so I agree with the rule.
The market is plenty of brands, perhaps there is an excess of offer. In addition to the traditional brands, the chineses have come with good bikes, good components and good prices.
Did you mean to protect our own industry? Everyone has to fulfill with the legal requirements, the europeans too. BMW got the new 1250 in order to meet the euro5. Yamaha did the same with all of their models... except the ST and the FJR.
