I am new to this forum.
I own a 2014 Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200ZE. A great motorcycle for touring. At some point I found out that the heated grips no longer appeared in the dashboard when I looked for it. To find out what could be the cause, I searched the internet and came across this forum. I am Dutch and English language is more difficult for me. I registered on this forum to find out more about the technique of my motorcycle. I live in North Holland Enkhuizen. Privately I drive about 10000 km per year on the motorcycle many trips to Germany and Belgium.

If the fuse is good, then it's likely one of the grips has failed, or possibly you have a wiring fault. Being a plug & play system, any problems of this nature result in the grips disappearing from the menu options.

Thanks for the link. I've already found it and know that the right handle has a broken wire and I need to replace it. I want to see if I can repair it but will have to order a new one I expect.

I often drive around Markerwaarddijk, Flevoland, Friesland Afsluitdijk. Friesland is very rural and it is a pleasure to tour there.
