Hello. I have been researching the Super Tenere since November. Thank you for all the information
here. I have decided to go with the non-ES version in blue and have put a deposit down
I currently have a Yamaha Venture that I have had for 11 years.
I plan on keeping the Venture for now when the wife wants to go as I know that is
a comfortable 2 up bike. Again thank you for the collection of wisdom here. Blessings, jbird

We had a venture when we got the Tenere . never rode it again. sold.
With the long travel suspension it just rides so much better.
Had to get the wife a better seat though.

Hello from the Bloomington area. I think you will really enjoy the S-10. Southern Indiana has an abundance of gravel and less than perfect secondary roads that put the Tenere in its element. Brownstown to Bean Blossom via 135 was the first route I rode to check out the S-10. 446 to 135 via Tower Ridge road will give you a good feel for what the bike is like in gravel. Good luck!!
