Oh good grief...I joined the ranks of the "I hope this bike is as good as I've been led to believe" earlier today. My name is Jim and I too am anxious for May to arrive. I ordered mine in Blue. The dealer says that I am the 2nd one on the list at his shop. I am currently riding a 2008 Concours 1400 (and keep asking myself if I have done the right thing). I've been riding for 52 years, with a mix of street bikes and dirt bikes, and have occasionally owned both types at the same time.

Welcome Montana. I guess by now you have seen there are several others now from Montana. It almost looks like us from the seattle are, you guys from montana, and the people in Oregon could meet in some central place with all the same bikes!!! Welcome to the insanity!!! Oh, of course you have made the right decision in ordering a Super Tenere!!!

We all have made the right choice, what else is there, a BMW??? NOT!!!

Welcome and enjoy!!!

Another "seasoned" veteran, I expect some war stories around here ;). Jim, welcome, and yes, we are all hoping this bike is as good as we believe, but we have a real good basis for hoping and believing that. Our overseas bretheren have assured us the S10 comes with a halo and wings. ::)
