I'm the guy who acquired "ColoRider's" (Rod) bike a few weeks ago. My kid has been going over it from stem to stern. The plan is to deliver to northern California in a few weeks when his work schedule permits him to make the trek out west. Rode a 1200 Gold Wing before picking up a Valkyrie back in '99. Got tangled up in a chain reaction incident last summer. I walked away -- bike went to the junk yard. Been secretly admiring the bikes and the mission of the adventure touring scene for several years. Past ready to stray from glitz - glitter - glamor & chrome to see how the other half lives. Me and the wifeunit reside in Willow Creek, Humboldt county, CA.

I'll be nosing around the tech side of the house to learn the ins & outs and idiosyncrasies of the Tenere.

You're in for a treat. The S10 is a great all round bike. Go anywhere. Be sure and explore all the dirt roads you can.
Welcome to the club! ::001::

::004:: from Ontario . Rode with Rod for a week last year from Whitehorse to Deadhorse. Good man likes to take care of his stuff. It's to bad about the bent forks.

Humboldt County? Curry County, OR, at the other end of the Siskiyous, here... I think we are neighbors. Welcome to the board. We'll have to get together and ride some time.

Beautiful backyard you've got there. I've passed through your neighborhood a few times now. Rode through Twisties new home town last year before the two of them got there. I could seriously spend a whole bunch of time wandering around up there. Maybe next summer.

Welcome my new friend from my old stomping grounds. North California has always been my favorite place to ride. And I lived in Europe for twenty three years!

Greetings and welcome aboard! You're going to like it and although the blue faction has remained relatively silent .. we know it's the best color. ::018::

It's kinda like pinning the tail on the donkey, except you get to see what you are doing.::014::

Welcome 6Rivers. I have friends that live on the river off of Seely-McIntosh Rd. I try to get up there 2-3 times a year. Hope to see you next time.

Rod told me about your purchase and Greg (Alberta Canada) mentioned he met you about a week ago. You are a popular guy.

Small world . . . look forward to it.

I spotted the blue Tenere when I was passing thru town. Had to stop and get a quick fix as I wait for my kid to deliver. Greg (the pole?) was gracious enough to give a total stranger a few minutes of his time as they prepared to hit the road.

I'm on Hwy 96, a couple miles out of town.
