Hello everyone! I just picked up a new to me Tenere, it's Raven and came with all 3 Yamaha cases, 48 months of Y.E.S, Yamaha Tall wind screen and had 2200 miles. I live in Seaside, CA. I currently also own a Ducati MTS 1100S and the Tenere is way more comfortable, still trying to decide if I should put the MTS on the market since the Tenere has arrived. I'm still in the process of buying a few things for the new ride. What is everyone using for a GPS holder? I am thinking about buying the SW Motech holder for my Zumo 550. Any opinions will be welcomed.

I look forward to learning from you guys as I get to know my Super Tenere.

Regards,
SFC E

Welcome on, SFCE. Congrats on your acquisition. Good color choice. I can't help you with the GPS questions, but there are those here who can. Sounds like it came with a lot of stuff. I know you'll enjoy it. Consider Whitehorse this summer. Check out the Rally info at the upper right of the HOME page of the forum. Again, ::004:: . Send up some pics. R. ::022::

Welcome aboard SFC E!! Congrats on your new ride and don't forget to post some pics.

I use the basic RAM mount with the Zumo mount for my 550. Works great.

Good luck!

I'll second Rod's opinion. I've used RAM mounts on a bunch of bikes, and never had any cause to complain.

SFC,
Same idea from me on the RAM mount. Another alternative if you want it to be locked to your bike would be the TouraTech GPS mount which is completely locking.

Thanks for the welcome, I'll be sticking to dirt roads and leaving the real dirty stuff for the WR.

Thanks for the welcome! I think I scored a good deal on the bike. Whitehorse is on my buckett list, but it will probably a year or two more before I make it there.
