Hi Guy's
Been lurking for a while now and have decided it's got to be a S10
Just going to wait for the 2014 details to be announced before I purchase ::008::
As always there's a question and it's for the UK owners, I leave in central London and need a recommendation for a good dealer
Not had a Yamaha since I had a Thunderace and that dealership no longer exist.
I'm prepared to travel a bit for the right dealer i'm not to good with mechanics so back up is quite important to me.
Although the S10 seems pretty reliable,
Thanks guy's ride safe

Agreed good plan. First welcome! Second, i trade every 3rd year based on mileage and 2014 is the year. Depending on the 2014 details I may back off to a 2013. Liked the white and flat charcoal anyhow. We shall see!

I got a great deal from Slocombes Yamaha and they could not do enough to help.

When I went back for the first service they did not even charge me for the parts, just thanked me for doing business with them - proper old skool service ::008::

Yes, Slocombes used to be BMW dealers - still owned by the same family and not part of some huge faceless group.

I think they stopped doing BMW's when BMW insisted they spend a billion quid on a new showroom and drop all other brands, the also do Guzzi, not a huge flash showroom with freshly ground coffee - but I had enough of that with BMW, "free" coffee whilst you are spending £100 an hour on having your GS fixed.

There is a café over the road from Slocombes if you really need some caffeine whilst your bike is serviced.

Welcome too, from the west country. Just come back from 4000 mile trip to Malta and back on the S-10; today . An awesome ride , esp thru the Alps and bike never flinched once - took it all in its stride.
