Hello from northwest Connecticut. Picked up a used 2013 Super Tenere in PA and brought it home here to New England a week or so ago.

This is my first S10 but have been dual sporting for a while. I put a bunch of miles on a KLR650 over the last 14 years and am looking forward to doing the same on this great machine.

My "new" Super Tenere came with several nice added accessories like heated grips, aux lights, Yamaha boxes and cruise control and I'm in the process of adding a few of my own. I'm adding Altrider crash bars, ACD skid plate and a set of E804/805 tires. And since momma wants to take an occasional ride, I added the PCA sport rack and back rest. The back rest is easily removed leaving the nice larger stout rack.

I'm looking forward to many adventures with this bike and appreciate all the great info here on the forum. Hope to see some of you out on the road soon.

Welcome aboard. There are a number of ex-sport tourers with Teneres in your neck of the country.

Thanks for the welcomes.

The cruise control looks to be a Rostra electronic unit.
