Good morning, afternoon, and evening to you all. Depends where you are in the world.

Name is Ryan and I just picked up a new (to me) 2012 Super Tenere in Raven. Loving the bike already! Hoping to get to know some fellow riders in my area.

I was born and raised in Cancun, Mexico. Hence the nickname.

I'll post pics when it's daylight out!

Thanks for having me!

Welcome aboard from here in the UK. ::004::

Not sure how much biking is possible out there. Last time I was riding in LV, it was blistering hot & we were just hoping not to get stopped at a red light. Boulder City even worse, you could fry eggs on the pavement. Had to hide up at Red Rock H-D to cool off. Brings me out in a sweat thinking about it! You must be made of sterner stuff.

Thank you guys.

And yeah Squibb, it takes a little getting used to but it's been really nice these past couple weeks. I was in Chertsey two weeks ago visiting family, love how many people out there ride!

Easy fix.
Get the old school BMW ones (I'm serious this time). They are tapered from one right to left, and are nice and squishy.

I got my BMW grips from Bike Bandit (bikebandit.com)...I use the Excel Throttle Lock with them just fine.

Thanks for the tip! I assume I can find them online for cheap? And they should work with the Kaoko TL right?
I got mine at the local bmw stealership... $20 bucks each.
worked great till I changed my mind and went with oxford adventure heated grips.

Hey Cancun, I have posted a couple of Hello's to you in various places before I saw this thread. Here is what I said:
Cancun, TwoLukes here and still alive in Vegas. I just finished a 7,000 mile trip around the country for the summer (on the S-10). Please give me a call sometime to talk all things Super Tenere. My number is (702) 682-LUKE (5853) We'll get you hooked up with the Vegas riders. Waiting for your call. . . :) LUKE

And if you see any crazy posts from Joneil about riding the Mormon Well's Road ride . . . . Well, just talk to me first please . . . :) That Joneil is a crazy one on the rough roads . . . Look forward to meeting you. Luke

Aww, that road wasn't that rough! Except for the first little bit, that was pretty rocky....
