Looking to buy a Super T soon. Can't find any dealers willing to let me do a test ride. I understand their legal reason but I really would like to take one for a spin. If anyone got a great deal on one in AZ let me know. I am looking to buy one in the next week or two, just looking for the best deal. Ridenow gave me a quote of 16, 300 with no additional accessories. Way too high from my research but it's a start. Send me an e-mail if you know of a good place to buy in AZ.

Welcome from another Phoenician. I would hurry over to bike week; Yamaha had the ST there last year, and where I first rode it (although I had already put my deposit down). My avatar pic is from that demo ride, and I've been hooked ever since!

I couldn't find your email to respond, but I bought my Super T from Outdoor Sports in Prescott Valley. They let me take their demo for a 10 mile test ride and worked with me on the price. Call me at 209-596-1002 if you want more details.

Thanks for the warm welcome all. A little about me. I had never ridden a motorcycle until last year at the ripe old age of 44. Bought a V-star 650 and did the MSF course. I put 10,000 miles on my V-star in 8 months. I liked riding so much I transferred to my police department's traffic unit and completed an incredibly intense motor school at 45 years old, the oldest to do it at our department in anybody's memory. During the motor school we rode Kawasaki KZ1000s. Part of the training was we had to ride the KZ's on a mountain bike trail, and it was no easy trail.

I enjoy riding my department's Kawi Councours 14 bikes immensely but am looking for some adventure. My good friend died of cancer last year at 40 years old so I stopped saying, "some day" and started doing things. He never got to do his bucket list, so I am going to do it for him.

You'll love the ST. I wish I had kept the guy's card from the shop where I first saw the bike in Tucson. Anyway, if you haven't pulled the trigger yet, try the shops in T-town.

Four Seasons in Rye, south of Payson, is gonna sell me one for 14, 800 otd. Gonna put a deposit tomorrow. They said about two weeks. This is far and away the best deal I have found in AZ and the dealer is reputable. I am gonna quit worrying about it and just buy the damn thing.

Good for you! Once you get it, maybe we can find a few loops to ride around the valley...I've been looking at dirt roads in the north Phoenix area lately...

For those in the Phoenix area or passing through, my number is 480 797-7716 if you want to ride. I will be a greenhorn rookie to the off-road stuff but my street skills will be very good. I would appreciate off-road riding tips and can give many tips back regarding street riding and what gets bikers killed.
