New from southeast Michigan!

I'm so new to the Super Ténéré that I don't even have mine yet! I'll be picking it up from a member here next weekend in Ohio! I'm very excited.

I still have my first bike, an '82 Virago 920, which is also a shaft drive twin, with different optimal operating environment. It is definitely the main reason I became interested in dual sport/adventure riding.




After that bike I bought a KLR and have rode the crap out of it for many years, from James Bay to Georgia.

With the wife's ninja 250

Bought myself a Ninja 250 after riding the wife's a few times, great bike, I put 2400 miles on it in a week, beginning of June. I loved the bike, but I had problems making it fit me perfectly. It went up for sale the day after I returned from that trip.

As you can see I'm a bit large for the ninjette.

I've had plenty of projects bikes, a couple dirt bikes, I look forward to my time on the Ténéré!

I can't wait, put about 100 miles on the wife's new Versys 650, and that was awesome, so I'm really looking forward to the tenere!

Within 4 hours of getting home from Rome, I wired my GPS up and installed the rack and bags. Tomorrow is the run up to Mackinaw

And, I got up there at 4 yesterday, after a short stop....home today around 3. It's been a long weekend.

its like this bike already knows me!

And since I was up that way..I had to go across the Mackinaw bridge!
