I'm from Columbus Ohio. There are no good places to ride here. O:)

Got my Tenere on August 5th. Had the first service done on the 11th.

That's about it.

(So exciting.)

Welcome EJV! Ditto here in Flatistan…some good roads, but not enough to them when we find them…no real great places to ride. Personally, I’m looking forward to some of the group rides that are developing and will develop in other parts of the country. Perhaps we’ll see ya at one.

LOL! When I am going to the good places to ride, first I ride three hours to Columbus. It's on the way to the good stuff.

Welcome, EJ! Mine goes in to Thiel's for the 600 service this Sunday.

You going to Euro Bike night this week? I figure they're open-minded enough to accept some Yamahas ::022::

Make that 4. I'm about 2 hours NW of Columbus. Heading to Moto GP in Indy this weekend. It'll be my first long ride on the Super T. Can't wait.

No good places to ride here? You just don't what anyone to know about the roads here I guess. Worse case last weekend rode down to the BRP for the weekend. Let's see St Clairsville, 800, McConnellville, 78,555,821,145,255,26,377,681,143,565,537,260. Now I grant you as you get into west virginia and virginia they get better and better. Take a friday at noon and ride down to front royal virginia. Pickup the SNP to rockfish gap. Then pickup the BRP to 77. You can make it to beckley wv by sat night and stay over. You could be back in columbus by sunday at 1PM. ::012::

I'm just northeast of Columbus. There are some good hilly and curvy roads heading out to Amish country through Killbuck and Millersburg. Also Rt 541 out of Martinsburg looked pretty good. Haven't had time to get the Tenere out there yet, maybe next week! I also remember some fun roads around Wayne National forest in the Southeast.

So what you are saying is that next time I use Columbus as my jumping off point to good roads, I should insist you and EJV come along?

And Moby Fubar, Buckeye71 and me! ;D I bet we all know good roads in the area. I do a loop from CBus that includes state routes 541, 83 and US62. It is 155 miles round thrip for me and is a nice decompression session, if you know what I mean!

So how are you liking the new bike?

Yeah, those are the roads I'm talking about! I'd love to do a quick ride out that way with any of you guys once my break-in is done, or at least the 600 mile part of it. I start vacation time this week and hope to get the break-in done.

Of course I'd be embarrassed if your bikes are all farkled out. I'm waiting for this group to finish "product testing" before I melt the credit card.
