I´m from Mexico and i´m a superfan of Yamaha´s XTs, so i´m sure this forum will be a good place to talk and share different experiences and stuffs about Supertenere XT1200.

Hi rem, thanks for your welcome,

I have a XT660 but i´m about getting one brand new Supertenere XT1200 and this is why i´m here.

I have some doubts about the XT1200, some people says that engine and cardan transmision are noisy, and probably is a failure. Do you know something about that?, Is it really the power restriction the first gears?

I hope next 2 or 3 weeks arrive my new XT1200.

I don't think you'll have to worry about the engine, if I understood you correctly. If you are having any specific issues, just post some questions. And again, ::004:: . R ::008::
