New Corbin Seat

Just want to post that I got a new Corbin seat for my 2014 Super Tenere and I absolutely love it. I had been searching for what people thought about their after market seats and actually found very little on the subject. So here is my review on the Corbin.
I purchased all black with leather. Find that I slide around a little bit compared to the stock seat, but at least my butt don't get tired after less than an hour like it did before. It does break in and it seams to only get better with each ride. A down side for those who might be vertically challenged is that the seat will only go in on the high setting. Not sure if that is because of the stats I gave them (6' 1" 225 lbs with a 34" inseam) or just because that is all it is designed to do. The grand total cost was $385. A great price compared to some.
In all, I am very pleased with my purchase and do recommend Corbin seats. We just ordered one for my wife's 2016 FZ-07. We will be posting that on the FZ-07 forum after we get it and she rides on it for a bit. Hope this helps anyone looking to upgrade their seat.

If you're interested in running it in the low position, you might want to give it another shot. I have the same seat (heated) and it goes on fine in either position.

Spinalator, I did it through the website, but my wife's seat we did over the phone because they don't advertise her bike model year, just the past two.

DietDrThunder, I don't mind the high position, but it is good to know that if I did want to lower it, there is hope. Thanks.

Just bought one myself and only 100 miles on it but good so far. And yes, mounted in low position just fine.

I ordered one today, with heat for my cool buns. I did a Sargent on my VFR and they pushed me back 3 inches from the bars, and lowered my butt 2 inches to crowd already tight foot-knee-hip triangle. They were not interested in helping me fix it so I am happy to give someone else a try.

That seat looks great on the bike. Probably one of the best looking replacement seats out there.

How do you like it now that it has been on the bike for awhile?

The Corbin on my S10 is the second one I've had; also had one on my FZ6. For my size/shape, the Corbin is very comfortable. ::008::

I'd love to get another seat, but I had a Corbin on a Honda Sabre and was about as good as the stock seat for me.
Got my money back on ebay.
Wish I could trust them again..............not too bad a price though.

I like my corbin.. it is better than stock seat by a mile... but it still has the tendency to slope me forward and after awhile that limits its comfort....the stock seat I could ride an hour maybe two before I would have to get off... the corbin more than doubles my ride time , though not as comfortable as I hoped....( because it slopes me forward ) if I could get the slope out I think it would be almost perfect for me... any ideas on how to get the slope out please share.... and I'm not taking the seat apart to modify it... I may have to go seat concepts route on original seat in the near future .... the iron butt rally is in full swing, just reminds me my butt is made of aluminum foil....

This is for the stock seat, but I imagine that the Corbin is similar enough:
