Today was my new (To me) bike day, something to smile about at last:)
I’ve had a miserable few months, first the mancave was broken into and my trials bike stolen mid March. Then mid May I got wiped out 5 miles from home resulting in my 2018 S10 being totalled and me ending up with a fractured wrist and a fractured vertebrae.
So today I took delivery of a December 2020 ZE replacement, 5k miles and I’m pretty sure I can’t get one much newer as I think they all had to be registered before the end of 2020 as they aren’t Euro 5 compliant.
Love it but still can’t ride it for a few weeks, but it fills that S10 shaped space in the mancave and it’s sat there waiting patiently for me. At least I can have some fun farkling in the meantime

Sweet! Congratulations on the beautiful bike, some farkling planned? You have got something to look forward to, I hope you have many safe miles on this one.

I guess you need to update your avatar now.. ;)

It’s a Wigan bike, previous owner lived near Durham, I got it from Leeds Triumph
Think they’re both owned by GBmoto. When I collected my Z model a bit over a year ago it was the very last Z and they had just two ZE’s left in the showroom. Salesman said they’d bought the last 80 odd bikes Yamaha had in the UK. I actually rang Wigan first, left a message but after a couple of hours there’d been no reply. So I rang Chorley, left a message again, but got a call back within minutes. So Chorley got the sale. By the time Wigan rang back I’d already put a deposit down as it was the last one. Took them a few days to actually find it amongst 700 bikes in their warehouse though. I’m a bit over 10k miles on it already, love it bar the bloody aweful seat,

Wigan, Chorley, Millenium in St Helens and I think 1 or 2 others are all owned by the same bloke Keith Mason, he started out as KJM Superbikes (I think they are still going) n Wrightington
