FYI .. and excuse this post, for those already aware.

The salesman that sold me two of my Super Tenere's sent me an email today. In that email, he said that there are leftover Super Tenere's, model year 2015 that Yamaha is trying to blow out. He candidly told me that he wants to make $1000 on the bikes. With that in mind, here are the prices, before tax. I assume ANY Yamaha dealer could get these, because they're in the USA warehouse.

* 2015 red, silver, or red ES model.
* Standard models would be total price of $10,400 and ES models $11,400

Seem like good prices to me, so thought I'd mention it in case someone is looking.

Where is your dealer located?

San Diego. But, because the bikes are in the warehouse, dealer location should not matter. Did you not have the bikes at the dealer, they are simply willing to order one if there is a buyer.

::025:: I knew a dealer in San Diego back in the late '80s, maybe the same one, that advised that Yamaha had a warehouse(s) in California that were full of "new non-current" bikes. Back then the bikes were half price. As recent as 10 years ago, a Texas dealer told me he could get brand new GTS 1000s. The bikes are a bargain! New bikes @ used prices. Just change the tires to a current set. (dry rot)

True, but no guarantee that every dealer will cut as good a deal as yours quoted.

Yep. None of the dealers around here actually had any '16s left on the floor when I was looking, but they could all get them - all for completely different prices, even though it would've likely been literally the same exact bike.
