Guys, I know this topic has been beat to death but I don't won't to spend anymore money. I am 6'4" - 33" inseam and long body and I am having windshield fits. I have a v-stream sport tour and it is pretty good but I still get a lot of noise, wind stream hits my helmet right above my face shield. Am I going to have to have a barn door to get into quite air? If any of you have the larger 24" or better windshields could you post a pic.
Thanks

It may not be the shield.

I have the tallest V-Stream (Tour) on mine without my Madstad adjuster. I'm 5'10" with a 29" inseam and riding on a Sargent seat in the low position and Rox 1" X 1" bar risers. I am also using an HJC CLmax 2 modular helmet primarily. I'm looking over the top of the shield by just an inch or two sitting bolt upright. The wind stream is well above and outside my lid. I can ride with the jaw opened up and I get no buffeting at all at speed.

The shield does a good job but, in my opinion, still needs some help. There is still a descent amount of air moving around at speed. I am a smoker, and the "ash flight pattern" shows without a doubt that there is a lot of air coming up from below. I have a set of Cee Baileys wind wings on order and I'm convinced that they will help solve a lot of the weird air patterns.

A picture of the big V Stream without the adjuster....

Hey Guys thats for the input. I was able to tinker with it today and I think I may be on something. My bike has the SW Motech lower pegs, rox risers 1"up 1"back and winglets. What i did today was take the windscreen from high to low. My noise level decreased. I don't mind a little wind in the face shield but the noise, oh my Lord was awful. I think I may need the 24" but right now I may have found a happy medium.

Hi,
Regardless of what windshield you run the biggest and best improvement will come from installing the OEM Wind Deflectors. And they are faily cheap.

+1 on the OEM Wind Deflectors, I also recommend a Madstad Adjustable Windscreen Bracket. Madstad + OEM Wind Deflectors = PERFECT!!!
