Yeah ive tried vaccum bleeding. Been through the whole process multiple times using litres of fluid. All i ever get out is fluid. Which makes me think its something other than air. Had read some posts about the new seals retracting the pistons back to far leading to a soft lever which builds pressure with pumping. Similar to my issue. The only way i can get a firm lever is ziptieing it for a couple hours. But it never lasts to the next day. Have also read that after zipteing lever and firming it up you should bleed the fluid as it will be saturated with air molecules which eventually form bubbles again after a few hour not under pressure. Makes sense to me, but so far hasnt fixed my problem either. I feel like ive tried every trick known to man. Lol.

Update on the brake issue.

I took it for a few rides and then left it for a couple weeks.
When i came back to it, amazingly the brakes had hardened up.
I have no idea how it fixed itself.
I just need to further bed in the new pads and im confident that it will be ok.

Only thing i xan think of is the ride jostled remaining air up the hose and then it escaped itself.

Thanks for all the tips and for anyone serviving ya brakes, i strongly suggest you dont let air into the system. Clamp the lines if needed. Save yaself months of frustration.

Cheers.
Dave.

Glad you got it sorted. Perhaps the new fluid just dissolved some goo or something when allowed to sit for a while?
