Can anyone who does NOT have wind deflectors have a look and see if the holes where they fit have the screw in type screen holders or are the holes just open ???

I know it sounds a bit strange but I don't know if the wind deflectors came with or without the screws and holders for the screws.

I fitted mine a while ago.. i'm sure the holes were open, and the rubber bits came with the deflectors ::008::

Be careful when you tighten em down. I tightened mine down to tight and few minutes later I heard a pop, two actually, and the heads popped of two of the screws.

If you are taking them off to sell on, then unscrew the deflectors, place screws back in to the well nuts a few turns and then push through the holes and out the other side.

+1 on Dogdaze suggestion. Worst case, the well nuts are commonly found at the local hardware stores. ACE and True Value in the US both carry them in the small bins of the hardware section.

Buy the ones off ebay, there hals the price of the official YAm ones, or less & they come with the fixings, fitted in 5 mins. The fixing are like a nut mounetd in rubber very similar to what Triumph use to mount the screen on the Exploder, just puss them into the black plastic on the cockpit area push the cap head screw through the deflector, offer to the bike, tighten up & fixed.
