I'm attaching photos of another project I just finished; two outlet mounting brackets designed to attach to the handlebar clamps. The brackets were cut out from a piece of 1/8" 6061 aluminum plate (they were cut out with a hacksaw and a regular coping saw with a woodcutting blade, which works very well on thin aluminum). The aluminum tubing spacers lift the bracket up over the top of the handlebar clamp, which is why you need the 50mm bolts. The brackets are angled to the outside of the bike, to give better access to the ignition. Right now I'm using hex head bolts, because the local Lowes doesn't carry 50 mm socket head metric bolts. They will eventually be replaced.

Once I get the PC8 fusebox hooked up, one outlet will be switched and the other always hot.

I can't claim credit for the idea, as I saw one similar to this on line, but mine is better because, well, it cost me about 5 dollars for the piece of aluminum :).

LOL, my pleasure. If you want a full size template of the bracket, I can scan it and send it to you.
