I got my license when I was 50 yo and I am almost 60 now. I had never driven a motorcycle before. I remember my first class and the teacher holding the seat of the school motorcycle as he was afraid that I could fall down. I've had three motorcycles, noone of them was brand new. I bought the ST with 3.000 km all made by the dealer, almost brand new but not new. Riding motorcycles has been a very positive experience. It's my life now.

My first new to me motorcycle was a 1974 Hodaka Super Rat 125 and I spent countless hours riding it, it set the stage for my future in motorcycling.
I had a neighbor way back when that had one of these, and a Combat Wombat. He also had a Penton motorcycle, two Studebaker Avantis, and two Gremlins. He had a peculiar taste.

1983 Suzuki GS100ES purchased as a leftover in 1987 when I graduated from law school after my wife and mother-in-law put $500 down for me. $3,500. Rode that thing everywhere. 1st 600 mile day. 1st multi-day trip. First REALLY expensive, but warranted, speeding ticket on a bike.
