It is on their website now too. It is a little less for a front saddle than a Russell Day Long in vinyl. Hmmmm decisions. I'll wait until you give us a report on how it seems to you. I've had a few Corbins in my life and some were really good and a couple weren't.

My experience as well with Corbins....however the seats have always worked just fine for me (after breaking them in), the issue's I have had are related to the fit of the seat to the bike. Some fit fine, others their seat pans were just plain wrong.

My Corbin arrived today. Fit like a glove. Install time was about 5 minutes as you need to use the lock latch from the stock seat.

Looks real nice. Feels narrower than the stock, but is actually about 1/2" wider at the back portion.

Still some forward slant, but smooth leather makes shifting much easier.

Now need some riding time to break in.

Regards,

Bob

In my best Joe Friday impression: "Just the saddle Mam, just the saddle"!

Ok, well despite my feelings bring hurt, I will post a couple pictures of the saddle once I figure out how. You will of course be astounded to realize that they will look a lot like the pictures on the Corbin website. Imagine that.

In the meantime, I will wait for the seat to develop it's own personal character through usage as Corbin claims before making a judgement.

As it stands right now, this seat is a lot like a pair of ladies high heals...good looking, but not so comfortable.

Fortunately, I also ride a Harley, so am used to suffering a bit of discomfort in order to look cool.

Did I mention the seat looks really nice on the bike?

Rod, I'm ashamed of you. You've gone and hurt Bob's feelings :(

Kidding Bob, glad to have someone else with a sense of humor around here. Put about 10,000 miles on the bike and then post some pics of your saddle..... err seat.....uhh Corbin.... ???
Hmmmm......that all sounds a little weird, too..... Never mind ::015::

Ok, got a short ride. Nowhere near enough to judge, plus I guess this thing really does need to break in. Preliminary reaction is that, since it is a molded seat, you are restricted to certain positions, rather than shifting all over the place like on a flat seat. So, far. I haven't found the magic position and now it's snowing. One thing for sure, it's not the sandpaper finish like on the stock. Downhill riding or hard stop and you really slide forward. Also it's wider at the thigh area, making it ever so slightly less comfortable to put feet down. The solution to that is to keep feet up and ride.

So, here's my first attempt to attached photos to a post.

Regards,

Bob

Bloke - No, I do not live in Blue Ridge. Wish I did. Currently looking at 8" of snow in the driveweay.

Maddog - Yes, I have the standard leather seat, no heat.

Bob
