Tested it out in the rain yesterday and it keeps the area forward of the rear wheel cleaner.

You would have thought that if they're advertising a splash guard, they'd have made sure there was nothing splashed on the inside of the exhaust, and on the drive shaft. Doesn't say much for it's prevention ability.

And does include both pieces, or just the one that sticks out on the bracket?

Definitely looks like the S10 in the pic was literally plucked from use and had both the hugger and splash guard installed and a few pics taken.
Pretty sure that both the bracket and splash guard are included in the price.
Not so horrible looking but the bracket does look a bit wacky....

Yes, I think you're right. But showing the hugger installed makes me wonder if it's included. It doesn't say anywhere that it's not. Like when you see a toolbox and it says, "tools not included".
