Has anyone had any experience with using the MRA X-Creen on Yamaha's tall touring screen?

I'm currently using the tall screen with a madstad bracket and Cee Bailey wind deflectors. This combo worked ok until I had the seat customized which has raised the seat height.

I now have some annoying buffeting and vibration where dirty air hits the top of my helmet. Instead of tossing the screen I thought I might give the X-Creen attachment a go. It looks like it might lift the airflow or least clean it up a bit as it moves over head?

I bought the full version (shield plus visor). It is about the same price as the visor by itself. Can have your OEM shield as a spare. I have it mounted on a Touratech adjustable bracket so I can further adjust the height and angle. No buffeting (I am 6' even) but:
- black bracket attachments can be distracting if you can't tune them out (which you can most of the time)
- the hole in the bottom of the windshield lets air come through on your neck if you don't adjust it properly
- the quick adjust knobs on the Touratech bracket don't stay in place. Touratech provides new nuts and bolts to fix this but it defeats the quick adjust feature (wonder if the 2014's shield has this problem).
- the whole shield with GPS vibrates quite a bit with my K60s.

Overall, despite the gripes I am not unhappy. On hot days you can change the flow to get air when you want it. The blackening out of the lower part of the MRA shield also probably lessens the lensing of the OEM shield that appears to fix the dash melting risk.

I don't have the MRA X-Creen, but each of our Teneres has the MRA Vario screen. They also have adjusters (Wasp and Madstad). Very happy with the ability to make all the annoying buffeting go away.

I look over the top of the screen 95% of the time. Air is thrown well over the helmet. Never notice the little screen section or mounts because it's under my primary line of sight almost all the time.

I just put the MRA X-Creen (touring) on my stock 2014 screen. I am 6'3" and am sitting on a RDL saddle. I have the MRA screen and am sitting in a nice pool of air.

Here's ya one mounted on the Yamaha Touring (Tall) Screen. As you can see, I ordered the bolt on (touring) version and I'm running it with the Yamaha wings. This configuration has reduced the buffet and wind noise experienced with the Touring screen alone to near nil. I've put 400 miles on with the X-Creen and there is a dramatic difference for me at 5'10" with 30" inseam. Much quieter and much more enjoyable. My only complaint is with the X-creen bolted on, the top of the windscreen unit tends to bounce a little more with the bumps. It's not really a problem, but just a little distracting at first.
