Yesterday, I left the house Kirkland (Seattle 'burb) at 7 am and was back by noon (to the wife's honey-do list). Went to Mowich Lake. Nice, easy gravel road (even a Harley could do it). A little "wash-boardy" in places (might shake a Harley apart). Great morning ride. Still on the Battlewings until they wear out, so not up for anything too technical. Was tempted to try a bit of the Evans Creek OMV park. Anyone ever done that on an ST? Be a good way to hone some off road skills.
Here are some pics of my ST and the scenery. From urbania to wilderness and back all in a morning. The US Pacific NW rocks (from a non-native)! ::008::

Hugh., great pics. Do you have a list of these roads or a map snapshot of some tracks?

Jeff, Sent you an email and a pdf of the OMV park. I got the ride from "Sound Rider's" Dual Sports Rides: Pg 61.
How was Lolo? Where's the pics? ::014::
