Hi!

Once again the “Transibericos” team we are ready to our annual off road adventure trip.
Time ago we started crossing Spain but once we did it in all the possible ways then we did it in Portugal, Sardinia and this year we are going to Morocco.

I've been in Morocco several times, first with a Suzuki DRZ, then with a BMW GSA and now with the Super Ténéré.
I’m very exited to see how the ST works in the Morocco sand and dirt roads, I’m pretty sure I’m going to enjoy it a lot.
We are going at the end of this month, 5 riders: 3 GSA, 1 KTM 950 Superenduro and my ST. We are trying to ride most in dirt roads. About 3.000 km in 7 days:

1: Nador-Missour
2: Missour-Merzouga
3: Merzouga-M’hamid
4: M’hamid-Tata
5: Tata-Boumande Dades
6: B. Dades-Midelt
7: Midelt-Nador

In the way down we follow the Algerian border thru the incredible Plateau de Rekam, the Erg Chebbi and Erg Chegaga dunes, the dry Iriki lake to Tata. Then we climb to the high central Atlas (hope there is no snow) and go north again to Ouarzazate, the Dades river, the incredible Cirque du Jaffar…

If you like Morocco here is the blog I did in my previous trip (sorry is in Catalan but Google Translate could help you): http://jva-marroc2010.blogspot.com.es/
I’m going to post the trip as soon as I can

Cheers!

We are really lucky being so close to Morocco. Incredible beautifull country.
So close but so different to Europe. And a paradise to bike riders with never ending dirt tracks.
I cant wait to take the ferry!!!

It looks like a great tour. I plan to be working in Morocco in the beginning of 2014 and hope to do some motorcycle adventures in the country. I will follow your trip with great interest.

Muchas gracias Elbiluco. I would like to share our trip with all of you. ::003::

Today we meet to distribute the Mitas E09 Dakar we are going to use in the trip. We hope they can last to the end. We tried also the new gloves Rev'it send us to use in our trip. They are the new Sand gloves, really good looking and confortable. ::008::
We need to try if three bikes could fit in the trolley... and the did!
Then we have a morning trip. In theory it mus be a soft journey but at the end it was really hard... A video:

Super T off road action

But the weather was incredible the bike runs better and better and we had a fantastic day!! ::012::
Just two weeks to go!!

The beast is ready!!

Yeah!! :D :D

We start to Barcelona and travel to Almeria to take the ferry. More than 1000km in motorway: long and boring. Aslo too hard to the knobs tyres. This is why we take the trailer. ::)
