It's been a while since I have rode the Tenere, other things have taken precedence, so I figured this morning I would ride to work. Temps were mid 50's and it's supposed to be in the 80's this afternoon. My ride is only 15 miles so not too far but enough to have time to think.
I grew up in the 80's with the new wave and mullet bands and of course they were in the headphones. The traffic was light as it is most mornings and the bike is in great shape.. i realized during my ride that I love this bike, seriously love this bike. I have owned a few bikes but this is (as my wife would say) the cat's meow. Maybe it's the time I spent away from it that has me feeling the way I do this morning but I do think it's more than that. I have the ability to go places and see things from a perspective that a lot of people don't. there's nothing like nature from the seat of a bike, especially this bike.
I think that I'm going to take the long way home from work... maybe even call in sick tomorrow because of how long it will take me to get home...
