There has been enough interest to schedule an official monthly ride for ST owners. I have chosen to coordinate the group rides using Meetup.com since I'm familiar with it and it is designed to organize activities like these. Please visit the link and register (no committment). You can RSVP to the rides you want to attend, receive emails on new rides scheduled, view the calendar, receive reminder emails, schedule rides between monthly rides, share photos, make comments and upload route or directions. It is not intended to replace this forum, just handle the coordination of the rides. Please visit http://alturl.com/g3wag (shortened URL) and join the group. A $5 annual donation (paid using PayPal in Meetup.com) is a appreciated, but not required. I will use it to pay for the Meetup.com service.
Since anyone can suggest a Meetup ride, please feel free to schedule rides at the last minute. I call them flash rides. I you get a wild hair to go riding and want some company, post it onto our Meetup site and see who is sitting around with nothing to do. You'll be surprised how many people join you. With Meetup you receive email notices, email updates, share photos, comment on rides, upload route maps, specify start time and location, etc. It is designed specifically for coordinating activities like this. It puts all the info in one place in a logical format where a forum is not so easy.
