Mn/Twin Cities Tenere Owners

Hey guys, Hudson Tenere rider here. I commute on mine to St. Paul pretty frequently. I just got my bike in April and put 5500 miles on it this summer. Love this bike! Sorry to admit that mine's already put to bed for the winter; wash, oil change, stabil in the tank, battery tender, and under cover. That said, I'm game for a group ride this spring. I'm not a dirt bike rider but I'd love to learn to ride the tenere off-road...I bought this bike to tour and motorcycle camp.

Who's going to IMS? What day?
I been here a while, I have one of the nuclear bikes, had to wait for it way back when. it's been around a good bit and as a recent retiree I think I shall try to tick the PCH off my bucket list this summer. Currently looking for a toy hauler so I can go down to COTA for Moto GP and other winter escapes to ride during the MN winters.

I am shooting to make it to the IMS show February 6th if everything goes right. I get off work in Fargo about 7:30 so the earliest I would be there would be 11:00. I made it to Miami IMS show last weekend. I could not believe how poorly attended that show was. I got there Saturday about noon expecting a mob and found a very light turn out compared to the shows I have been to in Minneapolis. Honda did not even show which foiled my plans of seeing a African Twin. Yamaha had the new 2016 FJR AE on display but it did not inspire me to trade in the 2014 FJR although they added some nice updates for 2016.Bigbore4 said:

Probably Friday or Saturday evening for the IMS show. Not sure yet. Have to talk to my best friend who has to run it past his wife (*sad trombone*). I have major parked motorcycle syndrome, looking at my S10 with a blanket over it, looking all sad/lonely.
Planned farkles for the offseason: Rigid SR2H Light Bar, Taller windshield. I wanted to get my ECU flashed but it seems there may be a recall on the way for the hard start issue and I dont want to have to send it back again after Mother Yamaha erases it!

Just realized I never posted of pic of her. Here is one from near the end of the season, riding the great river road down to Pepin.

Not sure why but the motorcycle show seemed a little nicer this year 
It's always a good show and that Ducati enduro was real sexy. So were the ladies working back there. Walked over to the Market bbq after the show yummy.
