Hi
There is a lot of information here about the k60 scout tyres by heidenhau, and am interested in trying these out.
Currently I have the mitas E07 rear and E10 front, which in performance wise, they have been good, both on tar, dirt, mud and soft sand. I am very happy with the handling, so am wary of change.
My riding style can be very aggressive at times, with speeds often around 160 - 180 km/h (100-110 m/h) on tar. This is where the Mitas are taking strain, with tears starting to show after around 2500km (1550 miles) as can be seen in the pic attached, but have held out a further 5000 km (3100 miles) although tears have got worse but no threats of throwing pieces.
Dirt speeds very radically depending on terrain.
Now at 7500 (4700 miles) they are due for replacing, and from review the k60 seem to get good mileage, however,I prefer less mileage and more grip, the trade off is not a debate.
Has anyone had experience with both?
Also do not see much mention of the mitas brand here, so not certain if they are available in your areas.
Front e10
Rear e07
