Mississippi rider made me laugh

Ran into a recent transplant from MS. A real character that made me laugh and could appreciate his commitment to ride first. He was lighting up some kind of smoke to start his ride on his Indian Chief. We recently had more than a foot of snow and the side streets are still a mess. The first thing I did was check out his tires and there they were KNOBBIES. I had to laugh again. Makes me appreciate you tough guys that ride year around in Northern climates.

Reminds me of watching tv shows where they take the bikes off road. The have automatic knobby deployment and then next scene they have street tires on. Chips was always doing that.

Yes!! They also substituted bikes. Even back then I could tell that it was a smaller (lighter) dirt bike painted to look like the KZ1000P in certain scenes. And, when Eric Estrada crashed, and gimped himself up....all of the "riding" scenes where with the bikes/actors on a trailer.
