Missing hero blob

I scraped my right hand peg the other day, when I checked out the scuff I was surprised to see that there was no hero blob fitted to the Right Hand peg.
There is not even a tapped hole to mount one,

the left peg looks normal.

Has anybody else got a missing blob?

It's normal and nothing to worry about. Go take a look at your left side and you'll know why it's there! Center stand.

I'm sure there are more threads but the missing feeler is normal and intentional it seems.

Haha. That's pretty good.

Infallible is maybe a stretch. But it was actually on purpose. Intentional. By design.

But even Yamaha can be wrong. Those handlebars were on purpose. Intentional. By design.

Missing hero blob ?

Last year while on a run I noticed my right peg hero blob was missing, I just suspected it came loose and I never thought any more of it.

Anyway last week while on another run I kept scraping the left peg and couldn't understand why not the right, til I got home and remembered the missing blpb.

So I purchased said blob only to find there is no thread inside the right peg ?? Which made me think there was never a hero blob there in the first place ??

So the question is, should there be a hero blob on the right peg and if so, how come my peg isn't threaded ??

Normal! Right side is not tapped for a blob. Lean over on the right I believe other things will touch, left has more lean angle so left side is tapped for blob, having said that, mine looks like a redneck's tooth........

I noticed that i only have a hero blob on the left hand side yesterday and not the right - i to thought it had fallen off ....... :

I've never heard these referred to as hero blobs before
