Have been using these for the last year or so and have worked fine. Black anodized alluminum with the correct left hand/right hand bolts. I don't know what the competition uses for bolts, as these aren't stainless or plated but they have stood up just fine. Another option. ::008::

I also have these from Ebay and during the last two years they have shown no discoloration or corrosion; can't beat the price. Their function is good for this wide body, moving the mirrors up & out. One of my buds had the SW-Motecs and I have seen the Wonderlichs. If $ were not a factor I'd go with the Wonderlich's, but they are rather proud of their craftsmanship.

thank you for the replies everyone. I'm new to the S10 world. I should have checked out the usual twisted throttle. I think the ebay extenders might be worth a shot first.

wow those are cheap. 7.50. that's definately worth a shot.
I have these as well. When ordering, be sure to mention that you need one to be reverse threaded for the right mirror. Otherwise, they will send you 2 right threaded extenders. And be careful threading them in. They strip out easily. Voice of experience here. ::010:: Good thing they're cheap.

thanks Merchant for the advice. i think Yamaha is the only company that uses a left thread and a right thread. i would expect that on a bmw or harley.

I've had the LuckyBike products on for nearly 70k with no problems too. ::008::

Simple product, shouldn't cost as much as some of the big name vendors are asking.

Before I had this S10 I had a Suzuki DL650 and bought several items from this fellow. His name is Richland Rick and then he just sold thru the V Strom forum but now has a website.
I can't say enough about his customer service - it was top notch.
I swaped his mirror extenders onto my S10 from the DL650 and they work great as well as being very nicely made. Very solid.
Anyway ... they sure do make a big difference !!
Best,
DT

I never really thought the visibility through the mirrors were that bad, but I ordered a pair from luckybike to see what the fuss is all about. ;D
They're certainly cheap enough. It's probably one of those things where you don't know until you try them.
Will these farkles ever end ???

The bigger, wider riders among us like them so we are not looking at our shoulders in the mirrors so much. For smaller, narrower riders, it's not as much of an issue. Some bikes have awesome mirrors, (ST1100), others not so much.

No the farkling never stops, just slows down a bit. ;D
